ARound the NCIS Fandom and NCIS world

First and foremost I must begin with an apology to this person and their followers when I responded rather unkindly and rudely to another fan who was adamant about getting CDP back and the methods they have been using.  I should not have used profanity and I apologize for that.  However I do stand by the fact that the methods used by the more ardent fans are not by any stretch of the imagination appropriate or for that matter legal and reflect badly on anyone associated with them or CDP.

It was announce earlier this month that Ms De Pablo has sign to do The 33.  The movie about the 33 miners who were trapped in a chilean mind.  Again it has been mentioned in areas that certain fans want Michael to be in it.  My question is Why?

I  am happy to report that Cablevision and WFSB reached an accord in their recent contract dispute and have returned CBS to their airwaves.   That made this viewer happy because I had to watch the show from the computer and it was excruciating at best.  

The next two weeks are repeats but then new episodes air.  The ratings seem to maintain their good standing (despite those expecting it to go higher).  Of course these ratings have not lead to any awards.  SAG’s were last week...not one...Peoples Choice awards...laughable.

Mark Harmon appeared on the Tonight Show last week.  It was a good one.  Fans got to see the family as well (sans Ty).  Sean is looking fine.

This Week in NCIS World

Well hello my friends how are you doing?  I wasn’t overly impressed with this week’s episode but I was surprised by its ending.  Of course the reviews from various arenas are the same.  Some liked it some didn’t. Shortly after this episode aired Michael Weatherly was interviewed by a blog site and he posted to his twitter feed and he gave his views rather forcefully (dropped the F-Bomb a couple of times.  Some were disappointed in his choice of words others were fine with it.  Some criticized others for posting their disapproval.  That’s their right.  I wrote my views on this thread . However, by the end of this weekend after hearing “he is expressing his opinion and” and basically being dismissed for our own views I responded   here .   I did offer some support to Michael Weatherly on his twitter page.  Whether or not he sees or cares about it is totally different. What's been happening

The holidays have brought out the trolls again on the IMDB board.   People have been interacting with the latest one and doing okay but I think they are done with it.   I am not interested in interacting with people who come on the boards and say things that are inflammatory and become abusive. There have been some “Blind items” that really seem very cruel about a prank that was played on someone from NCIS and you can read about it here.   I expressed my concern and hopes that NO one on either cast would perpetuate any kind of prank like this. Discussions about the newest episodes including the 200 th episode are continuing on many of the venues I frequent.   Some are receptive for clips and some are not.   Some are questioning the once again use of the Kelly and Shannon stuff.
