In the NCIS World

In Just ten hours is the Veterans Day Episode of NCIS.  I like it because who can not like Jack?  I expect the ratings for this to match the last two episodes as well.  They always seem to increase with DVR numbers.  Despite the clamor of CDP fans saying they are dropping.  If they drop out of the top ten then I will worry.  Many people are insistent that the ratings drop is because CDP is gone.  ATTENTION FANS:  Cote has left the building.   

Many thanks to HarrietNCIS the fan liaison for keeping us posted on cast appearances and upcoming episodes.  I was able to catch the Entertainment News programs and of course the interviews.  Michael Weatherly dons a great alligator suit..  The cast also recently did an international (out of LA I guess) press tour.  Many seemed to think they looked lonely up there.  i didn’t see it but  then again I wasn’t really looking.

Some articles recently came out causing the “fruitloop brigade” to throw their hate towards the cast (specifically MH) when they all agreed to move on.  They love their jobs they were surprised by CDP’s decision but its time to move on.  My fear as I recently posted to the forums that someone in the fruitloop brigade will take it upon themselves and do something rash.  

Emily Wickersham is now a series regular on the show.  That has some fans questioning this process as they were promised the audience or fans get to decide (yeah like that is going to happen).  She reminds me of Kelly Giddish of SVU.  

Oh and how can I forget to not mention this:  Congratulations to Michael Weatherly and his lovely wife Bojana.  They welcomed their son Liam last week.

What's been happening

The holidays have brought out the trolls again on the IMDB board.   People have been interacting with the latest one and doing okay but I think they are done with it.   I am not interested in interacting with people who come on the boards and say things that are inflammatory and become abusive. There have been some “Blind items” that really seem very cruel about a prank that was played on someone from NCIS and you can read about it here.   I expressed my concern and hopes that NO one on either cast would perpetuate any kind of prank like this. Discussions about the newest episodes including the 200 th episode are continuing on many of the venues I frequent.   Some are receptive for clips and some are not.   Some are questioning the once again use of the Kelly and Shannon stuff.

I watched a very interesting program recently

  I was watching PBS like I usually do and they rebroadcast a very interesting program.   It was Remembering Leonard Nimoy.   He was the talented actor who brought Star Trek’s Spock to Life.   This program was produced by his Daughter and covered his life from Boston to California and his career.   It also focused on his battle with COPD.    I learned a lot about his personal life and more importantly how he dealt with COPD and how it affected his life.   This program also explained what COPD is and all the medical views of it.    I found it to be very interesting. I saw the latest NCIS episode.   I can’t say it blew my socks off but it was good.    I like seeing how the character Gibbs is dealing with suspension and pretty much think that if they do have him retire it won’t be pretty.   As usual the fandom that I could see had mixed reactions like they usually do.   I still don’t understand why people who don’t watch it anymore, don’t like it anymore, or never liked it all are compe
