Around the NCIS Fandom

Condolences continue to pour into the NCIS Facebook page for the cast and crew of NCIS on the loss of Ralph Waite.  Requests for tribute episodes also have been given and a number of people insert the “BBC” mantra.  They were chided for it and rightfully so.   There is a lovely story honoring the characters of Jackson at   Mark Harmon Addicts.  It was uncanny because I was hoping someone would write this.  I add my hope that the writers on the show do equal if not better justice.  USA will pay tribute to Ralph Waite on Wednesday February 19, 2014 for a marathon.

The fourth cast member has been picked for the new NCIS spin off and he is Lucas Black  According to EW he will play Agent LaSalle somewhat of a party animal and hard worker.  The comments are cynical at best.  I probably will give it a try and from time to time watch it the way I watch NCIS:LA.

I was totally surprised to see a mini marathon on Friday.  I was also surprised to see one yesterday.  Of course I was glad to see it.  The next one is Wednesday.  The first half starts 8 am but the second half is as I mentioned earlier the Tribute to the late actor Ralph Waite.  The entire NCIS Schedule is here.

This Week in NCIS World

Well hello my friends how are you doing?  I wasn’t overly impressed with this week’s episode but I was surprised by its ending.  Of course the reviews from various arenas are the same.  Some liked it some didn’t. Shortly after this episode aired Michael Weatherly was interviewed by a blog site and he posted to his twitter feed and he gave his views rather forcefully (dropped the F-Bomb a couple of times.  Some were disappointed in his choice of words others were fine with it.  Some criticized others for posting their disapproval.  That’s their right.  I wrote my views on this thread . What's been happening

The holidays have brought out the trolls again on the IMDB board.   People have been interacting with the latest one and doing okay but I think they are done with it.   I am not interested in interacting with people who come on the boards and say things that are inflammatory and become abusive. There have been some “Blind items” that really seem very cruel about a prank that was played on someone from NCIS and you can read about it here.   I expressed my concern and hopes that NO one on either cast would perpetuate any kind of prank like this. Discussions about the newest episodes including the 200 th episode are continuing on many of the venues I frequent.   Some are receptive for clips and some are not.   Some are questioning the once again use of the Kelly and Shannon stuff.
