My First OT post


This is my first OT post for my NCIS blog.  I just realizing the entertainment world has many things going on right now.  They lost two Icons’ of old Hollywood.  Cliff Robertson was remembered last week as good family man.  Mr. Robertson died on September 10, 2011 one day after his 88th birthday.  The Cause of Death has not be released.

Delores Hope the widow of the Late Comedian Bob Hope Died this week she was 102.  She was an entertainer in her own right often appearing on Bob Hope’s TV Specials.  She did retire early on but she seemed like she was a great lady.

One of Daytime’s most popular soap opera is ending tomorrow.  ABC’s All My Children will air its final episode at 1 pm.  For the past few days both ABC and its sister Station Soapnet have been airing past episodes (from the day it started).  It isn’t going to fade completely away it will be found on the internet.  My guess is on Soapnet.com.    Some of the actors have been asked to remain with the show and others such as Alicia Minshew have declined.  I have watched the show over the years.  To this day I catch it now and then but I don’t think I can watch it on line as it is difficult for me to watch any thing online with my computer.

One life to Live the sister show was slated to also leave the airwaves but now I am not so sure.  I think it’s supposed to follow suit to the online way.  I am not really sure.

Both are being replaced by reality TV programs.  This should be interesting.

This Week in NCIS World

Well hello my friends how are you doing?  I wasn’t overly impressed with this week’s episode but I was surprised by its ending.  Of course the reviews from various arenas are the same.  Some liked it some didn’t. Shortly after this episode aired Michael Weatherly was interviewed by a blog site and he posted to his twitter feed and he gave his views rather forcefully (dropped the F-Bomb a couple of times.  Some were disappointed in his choice of words others were fine with it.  Some criticized others for posting their disapproval.  That’s their right.  I wrote my views on this thread . However, by the end of this weekend after hearing “he is expressing his opinion and” and basically being dismissed for our own views I responded   here .   I did offer some support to Michael Weatherly on his twitter page.  Whether or not he sees or cares about it is totally different. What's been happening

The holidays have brought out the trolls again on the IMDB board.   People have been interacting with the latest one and doing okay but I think they are done with it.   I am not interested in interacting with people who come on the boards and say things that are inflammatory and become abusive. There have been some “Blind items” that really seem very cruel about a prank that was played on someone from NCIS and you can read about it here.   I expressed my concern and hopes that NO one on either cast would perpetuate any kind of prank like this. Discussions about the newest episodes including the 200 th episode are continuing on many of the venues I frequent.   Some are receptive for clips and some are not.   Some are questioning the once again use of the Kelly and Shannon stuff.
