This week in NCIS World



It is going to be a busy weekend for Mark Harmon.  The Stuntman’s association is having their annual gathering and awards banquet and will be honoring Mr. Harmon with the Richard Farnsworth Award.  From all the reports Pauley P will be hosting and Robert Wagner will be presenting the award to MH.

Also this weekend the Prism Awards will air on FX (check local listings for time) and we can see the pre-recorded acceptance speech from MH on NCIS set.

Tomorrow USA will air the Repeat Offender Marathon starting at 1 pm.  OF course it will be on a day I am busy.  I checked the IMDB NCIS TV schedule and so far they have a few more marathons going and they kept the Wednesday Marathon in tack for the 25th..  It will start at 6 am (Yay) and probably finish 8 or 9 that night (the schedule is only up to 4 pm).  They didn’t list anything for Monday 9/23.  I am also not going to bother updating a calendar because it takes me too long.

The next day after I posted the link to someone’s verbal assault on MH she deleted the messages and apologized to those of us who were offended by the barrage.  She claimed to have calm down and does not blame MH for what happened.

There have been many articles (and rehashing) about Mark’s “silence” of Cote’s de Pablo’s exit.  He really didn’t say much (and he isn’t going to either).

Well hello my friends how are you doing?  I wasn’t overly impressed with this week’s episode but I was surprised by its ending.  Of course the reviews from various arenas are the same.  Some liked it some didn’t. Shortly after this episode aired Michael Weatherly was interviewed by a blog site and he posted to his twitter feed and he gave his views rather forcefully (dropped the F-Bomb a couple of times.  Some were disappointed in his choice of words others were fine with it.  Some criticized others for posting their disapproval.  That’s their right.  I wrote my views on this thread . However, by the end of this weekend after hearing “he is expressing his opinion and” and basically being dismissed for our own views I responded   here .   I did offer some support to Michael Weatherly on his twitter page.  Whether or not he sees or cares about it is totally different. What's been happening

The holidays have brought out the trolls again on the IMDB board.   People have been interacting with the latest one and doing okay but I think they are done with it.   I am not interested in interacting with people who come on the boards and say things that are inflammatory and become abusive. There have been some “Blind items” that really seem very cruel about a prank that was played on someone from NCIS and you can read about it here.   I expressed my concern and hopes that NO one on either cast would perpetuate any kind of prank like this. Discussions about the newest episodes including the 200 th episode are continuing on many of the venues I frequent.   Some are receptive for clips and some are not.   Some are questioning the once again use of the Kelly and Shannon stuff.
