This Week in the NCIS World

Very busy week.   Prayers to the members of the real NCIS in DC and around the world after this week's attack by one gunman.  They are investigating the shooting there.  ET and other Entertainment news got reactions from the cast and crew of the NCIS series.

More and more reviews of the new season for NCIS and more comments from fans etc. Articles left and right too.

Happy Birthday to David McCallum who turned 80 this week.  I found many blogs that mentioned him.  :)I will add his birthday to my birthday list soon..

Really nice photos from the Stuntman’s awards.  I am glad he is was being honored.  

A debate has arisen between fans regarding the actress Diane Neal.  Some including myself have felt she has been fueling the BBC brigade and the more rabid fans of CDP/Ziva.  Others have not.  I myself had been criticized on a couple of forums that DN was only being supportive.  Yeah of rabid fans going wonky on CBS and the cast and crew.   Happily I was not in a minority on IMDB.

Wow Mark Harmon is a presenter on the Emmy awards this weekend.  Many have commented that Mark and the show should be getting the emmy’s.  I totally agree with this.  I know its an honor to be on teh show but it seems like a slap in the face of the cast and crew and the show and the fans having them so close and really far far from it.

Well hello my friends how are you doing?  I wasn’t overly impressed with this week’s episode but I was surprised by its ending.  Of course the reviews from various arenas are the same.  Some liked it some didn’t. Shortly after this episode aired Michael Weatherly was interviewed by a blog site and he posted to his twitter feed and he gave his views rather forcefully (dropped the F-Bomb a couple of times.  Some were disappointed in his choice of words others were fine with it.  Some criticized others for posting their disapproval.  That’s their right.  I wrote my views on this thread . However, by the end of this weekend after hearing “he is expressing his opinion and” and basically being dismissed for our own views I responded   here .   I did offer some support to Michael Weatherly on his twitter page.  Whether or not he sees or cares about it is totally different. What's been happening

The holidays have brought out the trolls again on the IMDB board.   People have been interacting with the latest one and doing okay but I think they are done with it.   I am not interested in interacting with people who come on the boards and say things that are inflammatory and become abusive. There have been some “Blind items” that really seem very cruel about a prank that was played on someone from NCIS and you can read about it here.   I expressed my concern and hopes that NO one on either cast would perpetuate any kind of prank like this. Discussions about the newest episodes including the 200 th episode are continuing on many of the venues I frequent.   Some are receptive for clips and some are not.   Some are questioning the once again use of the Kelly and Shannon stuff.
