I get so tired..

On a weekly basis threads on different (mostly FB) NCIS related boards get hijacked for one thing or another. Most recently an article that was posted read CBS cancels fan favorite after Lead Actor quits (for any of you who have been sleeping Its about Bull and Michael Weatherly. On a side note I wonder what happened first the cancellation or the actor announcing in Twitter he was leaving?) Someone posted that MH should come back. They don't like Gary Cole's addition. I finally had to say this isn't about NCIS and how I wished people would stop hijacking threads. I get so tired of the constant bring back MH. He finally did what he has been saying he is going to do. Move from the front of the camera to behind. He is still there. Maybe not every day (I have no idea what producers actually do) There are some people think he is off doing retirement things with his family and wife. I find that rather presumptuous. I also get tired of the bring back so a...

Awesome News 2020

Image
Awesome news this week. After an shortened TV season because of the Corvid19 the    was some concern that the NCIS franchise had been cancelled out right.  It was announced or confirmed by Sean Murray in a tweet today that the franchise will be returning in September. The Season finale of NCIS "Arizona" was a great episode and it had good reviews from the various platforms I was on.   In equally awesome news Pauley Perrette's Show Broke was cancelled for next season.  In full disclosure I did watch the first episode.  I have mixed views on the episode.  I have not seen the subsequent episodes.  Of course others have and as in all shows some liked and some didn't.  Some are just blindly following her and are oblivious to her instability. I have been spending a lot of time watching and have seen shows I haven't been able to see in a long time.  Including Xena, The Virginian, LHOTP, and show I have only heard of. cbs network fandoms fa...

New season started

The episodes I think are pretty good. Jon Cryer was very good and I look forward to seeing more.

NCIS renewed for season 13

There isn't much on TV tonight and some of the marathon’s on WE and Sundance I have seen already.  I couldn’t believe the news I heard today though American Idol has been cancelled for the 2015-2016 season.  I heard a partial report and didn’t know if they were talking about this season but then I got online and saw an article that says Ryan Seacrest speaks out on it.  On one hand I didn’t watch it and never liked it.  I try not to watch those types of shows because they can be relentless and cruel. I was relieved to read that NCIS has been renewed for the 13th season.  Still no word on whether or not MH has signed on as cast member or crew member.  It has many people a little worried but at the same time some are saying he wouldn’t not sign on.  I have a feeling he will have reduced screen time and concentrate on being producer and director.  He as much as said so on different occasions.  As to whether or not season 13 will be the final...

A New Episode 9/30/2014

The second episode is starting.  I am not liking Tony in the first few moments.  I also didn’t think Michael was that impressive in the ET interview but I have a different sense of humor than others.  Michael did a couple of other interviews I will have to catch online later. Mark Harmon was on Live with Kelly and Michael today it was pretty good except for the fact that yet again the interviewers/research people just had to bring up People Magazines’ Sexiest Man alive.  When Kelly brought up she still had the cover and could look for it and Mark just smiled and told her to get a life in so many words.  They talked about tonight’s episode and his part in NOLA. Some of the discussions this past week included the possibility of CDP/ZD coming back to help with new big bad.  Of course some want it and some don’t..  I even made a trip to FACEBOOK and there still  some people who keep asking for both the actress/character to come back.  The ...

NCIS was renewed for Season 12

The news flew through the NCIS fandom yesterday that season 12 was a go.  Many of us had no doubts.  Others did.  Many are hoping that Emly Wickersham’s character will be gone and you know who has returned.  Should I state the obvious? Today’s double episodes were from season 7.   They are Jetlag and Masquerade..  The first episode brought a lot of criticism because the agents left their charge alone and she nearly died..   The second one we either meet or see MAllison Hart. again.  I didn’t watch all of it because it was dinner time and I went out afterwards. I am not sure if I mentioned this or not but the next big marathon is tomorrow and the theme is Lucky Ducky Marathon..  It starts around 9 or ten and that’s good because we are going to be out early tomorrow.  I am sure I will be catching some of it..

I need to start avoiding the Official Facebook Page of NCIS

Every time I go there I end up getting aggravated by the same rhetoric.  The same shit every day.  The show has lost its chemistry (I don’t think it has), Bishop doesn’t fit in, Gibbs is this that and  the other.  (They have been saying that for like freaking 4 years).  I also get tired of reading “I don’t watch it anymore” or  the constant arguing of why watch it if you don’t like it (which I do actually agree with).  I find myself questioning the reasons for posting at message boards if you don’t watch the show anymore.  I have long since stopped watching a number of shows and I may lurk to see what the atmosphere is like or what if any are the same arguments might be that occurred when I was actively watching.  Its the dead horse beatings.  I also know that these arguments are also not solely at one message board.  It is on a number of them but they seem to handle them better than others. Today ownership of the Harmons_Fans Ya...

David McCallum

Yesterday sometime DigitalSpy online magazine posted an article with the talented David McCallum on many things including the departure of one Cote De Pablo and it revealed that it caused a great deal of anguish and frustration for those left behind.  This revelation was received with mixed reaction.  Some supported his candor and others rebuked him (check out twitter and Tumblr).  You may have to do a search it seemed to be very little when I checked on Twitter but I seem to have issues when I am searching.  I get some recent stuff and some really old non relevant stuff that I missed.    Anyway responses on Facebook have been minimal (at least from this view but I think give it time).  The rest of the article was about a possible Man from Uncle Reunion and I don’t think that’s going to happen any time soon.   I saw last night’s episode and for a few minor nitpicks it was great.  As always getting mixed reviews.  It would be nic...

NCIS spinoff Cast announcements

I have been getting alerts all day today announcing the new cast for the NCIS spin-off.   Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap, Star Trek: Enterprise) has been cast as the Leader of the new team located in New Orleans.  Second person to be announced was  Zoe McLellan who also appeared on JAG has been cast as Agent Brody from the Midwest.  They are still looking to fill the rest of the cast up.  I bet Mark Harmon is excited and thrilled.  It hasn’t been announced on any of the entertainment news programs yet.  They are focusing on the Superbowl and the drug overdose of   Philip Seymour Hoffman on Sunday. I tried to stay up for Once a Crook episode of NCIS last night but I wasn’t doing well.  I was tired and not feeling well.  I also found both the characters Abby and Tony to be extremely obnoxious and annoying.  A point I made on a couple of boards.  I checked my October and November entries and can’t tell if I watched it or not. ...

In the NCIS World

With the latest episode only 10 hours away there has been a lot going on in the NCIS world.  Last week’s episode did well in the ratings despite the mixed reviews from the online fans.  Some felt it was beyond believable that one man can stand up to thugs.    The main point of the episode was to show how women are treated in Afghanistan.  IT didn’t hurt to have in the news the young girl that stood up to soldiers on a bus in Afghanistan being featured and interviewed every where. This week we return to Baltimore as we see a much younger Anthony DiNozzo deal with being a cop in Baltimore.  We had seen pictures earlier this fall previewing this episode.  Some were pretty funny.  TV guide did a cover story with Mark Harmon and Michael Weatherly and their respective characters relationships.  There are some really beautifully done pictures.  I wish I could get it but I am not comfortable spending extra money on it. Ha...

This Week in NCIS World

Well Episode #2 and Ziva farewell aired this past week to mixed reviews-again.  Gee what a surprise.  I enjoyed it as always. The ratings seemed to maintain in the 20 million mark.  I am not really worried about them crashing as many are predicting. Discussions continue on the focuses of the show.  Some want the comedy to continue.  I agree as long as it blended equally with the action, drama and what ever else that makes a TV show.  I like the stand alone episodes along with the arcs.  I also like know about the personal sides (even if they don’t always make sense) more and more layers that make the characters tick. Previews and spoilers for future episodes are sprouting all over the net and various forums for the next two episodes.  They are Episode 238 “Anonymous Was a Woman” and Episode 239 “Always a Crook”.  The first one was has to do with a pet project of the Late Mike Franks and his spirit will be showing up again.  So will...

This Week in the NCIS World

Well Season 11 has begun rather well ratings wise (overall).  IF I am to believe some of the reports and analysis from IMDB and other sources.  As always it got mixed reviews from the fans from various forums.  There were a couple of moments in my viewing that I thought was a little shaky but overall I enjoyed it Just as the season premiere was dawning news that another spinoff was spread throughout the ether.  This time it will be in the hands of Gary Glasberg and Mark Harmon.  This led to much speculation from fans.  Questions such as will it be “a real spin-off?” or “will it be good?” It also led to speculation that maybe Mark is pulling back from the role of LJ Gibbs.  It led to concerns this would adversely affect the “mother ship”.  I don’t know what to think.  I would feel bad about not seeing Mark Harmon as much in the show. Oh and of course this is the week that trolls came out of their hiding places.  I have...

This Week in the NCIS World

The anticipation of the Season premiere of NCIS is getting heavier in this fan’s life.   Discussions continue of upcoming episodes post Ziva and what to expect for episode 250.   That will be sometime later on in the season.   What ever it is I hope it is done well and received fairly well (uh huh I know not gonna happen). Mark Harmon was a busy man last weekend.   Michigan University honored the Late Tom Harmon (Mark’s father) and his accomplishments for the University as their star Quarterback.   Mr. Harmon was at the game and celebrity commentator and made a speech.   There are number of posts and pictures in various areas of the event.   According to some there was also some rude and uncalled for comments on twitter.   I somehow got on a blog for the team and some of them reviewed his “performance” as being forced.   Okay you want to stand in front of a stadium full of people and not get overwhelmed?   Good luck on that o...
