My NCIS World

I was able to see this past week’s episode of NCIS entitled “Love Boat”.  I have to say it was quite good.  I have no problems with Torres or Quinn or the actors who play them.  I would have liked to have seen the reaction from the team on Delilah’s reaction but that may go against the main thought that no one wants to see the “personal side” of the agents.  Everyone did an excellent job. I read the synopsis of the next episode and we get to see Tony Dinozzo Sr.  I thought I read there would be either a surprise  appearance by Michael W and his alter ego in upcoming episodes (per chance Tim and Delilah’s wedding?) it may have been fan speculations. The discussions of Sean Murray’s weight Loss continues and my blood pressure keeps going up and up every time I read it.  I would like it very much of the Admins of any of the forums (mostly on FB) would get off their bums and Please say something.  I don’t care if you agree but really?? Enough...

I was able to catch a number of episodes and as I watched them I got the feeling it was their ABBY marathon.  One of the first clues was Dog Tags and I went through the list and noticed it was that.  was pointed out on one of the forums.  It may been pointed out on FB.  Along with all episodes were dedicated to the Memory of Gary Glasberg.  It was a nice touch. The next marathon is Monday and Wednesday.  Monday's looks like it is from Season one.  I was quite surprised to see that CBS is repeating Yankee White.  I may be wrong I will have to check the schedule and Sue's lists as well.

As expected the Ralph Waite Tribute was lovely.  After each of the episodes they used a still of Ralph from “Faith” near the end where Gibbs and Papa talk about what was bothering Jack.  Discussions are still continuing on how the episode the show will honor him.  Unfortunately it still upsets people discussing it.  It was announced today that NCIS will be honoring Ralph and Jack at the end of Season 11. USA had a double episode Friday.  I missed the first one.  there was full marathon Sunday featuring Tony DiNozzo.  YOu can always check the IMDB line up. Pauley Perrette was on David Letterman Friday.  I didn't want to stay up so I had to miss it.  I will probably catch it on youtube or reviews of it.  It got mixed reviews. I have been getting alerts all day today announcing the new cast for the NCIS spin-off.   Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap, Star Trek: Enterprise) has been cast as the Leader of the new team located in New Orleans.  Second person to be announced was  Zoe McLellan who also appeared on JAG has been cast as Agent Brody from the Midwest.  They are still looking to fill the rest of the cast up.  I bet Mark Harmon is excited and thrilled.  It hasn’t been announced on any of the entertainment news programs yet.  They are focusing on the Superbowl and the drug overdose of   Philip Seymour Hoffman on Sunday. I tried to stay up for Once a Crook episode of NCIS last night but I wasn’t doing well.  I was tired and not feeling well.  I also found both the characters Abby and Tony to be extremely obnoxious and annoying.  A point I made on a couple of boards.  I checked my October and November entries and can’t tell if I watched it or not. ...

Well today is the day where many of my fellow American get ready for the all important football game of the season.  They get their Super Bowl supplies for the parties, their menus etc. The networks, and cable stations/networks plan their schedules in honor of this day.  There is a puppy Bowl, kitty bowl, and from what I am told a fish bowl (no lie).  Unfortunately no NCIS marathon.  Although we do get a OTS episode at 9 pm tomorrow.  Yay.. Let’s see..NCIS still did pretty good in the ratings this week despite some people’s insistence that it isn’t doing well at all because of Bishop and the writing.  I am looking forward to next week’s episode despite some people’s fears that Bishop is becoming another Mary Sue Character.  Other’s continue call for her removal and the return of CDP.  Le Sigh... People are still upset about the Video that Michael Weatherly did with Sarah Silverman.  It isn’t as prevalent as the most recent Bishop bashing...

As most of you know for the last few years I have been following actor Muse Watson on the social media sites.  Especially after he appeared as Gibbs’ Boss in the 3rd season two part season finale of NCIS.  As usual you find out he has been in a hundred films and TV series of one genre or another.  I am beginning to re-evaluate that decision. As time went I noticed how he would behave on the two sites he has been on.  I approved his campaign to remove all the false Mark Harmon accounts but then he would make comments about things and would attack others for their views.  I know I may have talked about the time he made a comment about CT Senator Chris Murphy and I defended Senator Murphy and he came up with some snotty ass remark.  I was livid.  He has no BUSINESS to make derogatory remarks about people he doesn’t know.  Most recently a few people commented to him they didn’t like the character of Mike franks and they were respect...

Wow last week’s episode sparked off controversy.   Many fans and viewers (at least on line) were angry and disgusted with the episode and how SFA DiNozzo was written.   I wasn’t blown away by the episode myself but I enjoyed other parts.   The remaining episodes have many denouncing the show and the writers.   Some are claiming not to return as viewers and have said it has jumped the shark now that it has been announced that Muse Watson’s character Mike Franks is returning.   The whole “if you don’t like don’t watch debate continues.   Unfortunately I happen to agree with the “don’t like don’t watch” faction.   I don’t care if you liked it once and want it to return to your specifications.   If the cast likes what is happening then why would you want to make them unhappy-again? AT the same time I do wonder if the cast and crew really do listen and realize that the path they chose to take could make their show a laughing stock.   ...

Good morning every one!   Yes I am still around.   I needed to take a break from writing in the NCIS world.   I didn’t like the second half of Season 9 and I wasn’t real thrilled with the fandom as a whole.   Oh I participated on the various sites that I belonged to but and I remained respectful and all but there were things that needed to be said and I couldn’t do it then and probably shouldn’t do it now. Anyway, First thing I should probably let you know re me mber when I wrote back in April that Michael Weatherly announced the baby’s na me and who the godfather was going to be?   Well it turned out it was an April Fools Joke.   I have to be honest that really wasn’t cool.   I felt I was being manipulated and no fan should go through that.   Also false information like that could cause pandemonium.   It is also known as rumors and I have seen what it could do.   Whether it was about good thing or not but it did teach me one ...

I still haven’t seen this week’s episode on line yet but I will.   There is still some discussion but not as much as I was expecting.   Of course as in the past its gotten mixed reviews but more positive then negative.   It did pretty well in the ratings too from what I gather.   What is surprising me is some people are already discussing next week’s episode. In at least one venue there are several ideas that the return of an agent Dorin (he was in Sins of the Father episode) is an indicator that at least one or more of the cast is leaving or being replaced.   I would really prefer that they don’t add any more people to “the team”.   They have done it for ever from Angel and Buffy to Burn Notice and probably many others I haven’t seen.   I also haven’t seen any indication that the stars are going to leave.   It’s just been supposition and speculation on the part of the viewers and fans and posters. I just finished watching the last hour of the mid-week NCIS marathon.   The first few hours I guess included the season one episodes.   The 8 pm and 9 pm were from season seven and the “new to USA episodes” season 8 “ Baltimore ”.   There is another marathon on Friday.   It is so me thing about romance I think it is called “Agents of Love” marathon.   That title should go over well. The previews for Next week’s Christmas episode are getting mixed reviews.   So me wanted to have the characters DiNozzo and McGee be the ones to help with the delivery instead of Gibbs.   UH hello two reasons I could think of for this.   Mark Harmon and his character are the lead in/on the show!!!! I am currently watching Day two of the NCIS Character Assassination marathon.   Its kind of weird as I was thinking of the episode Kill Ari where Abby is phonetically spelling out Gibbs na me as she talking as he is leaving the building.   I don’t think these episodes registered when I took a look the other day.   The next marathon is the Wednesday marathon.   This week’s CBS broadcast is from season 8.    So me really cool pictures and threads about the cast and crew granting the wish of a young child.    There are also so me really cool BTS of their Christmas episode.    So me one found an article from the Midwest about Mark Harmon and his fitness regi me . I really loved the Thanksgiving Day marathon it was aweso me .   I got to see so me of it before the family arrived and I saw the last one before the holiday weekend started.   There is one tomorrow starting at 9 AM.   I think it lasts until 11 tomorrow night.   I will be a happy camper. Next week’s CBS airing is a repeat so I won’t be watching it-I might don’t know yet.    I finally got to watch last weeks episode there was so me buffering and stalling but I just muddled through it.   I have to retract my original “review” from Tuesday.   I did find the initial interrogation a little spooky as I could imagine that kind of discussion going on in RL. Good Morning my fellow NCIS/Mark Harmon fans.   I trust your weekend is going well?   I can honestly say it is despite the unpleasantness in the fandom earlier this week. As I suspected my posting privileges at the Navy_NCIS community were banned.     So I decided to stop following and stop being a member.   I am all for expressing opinions and respecting the other point of view.   However they were not respecting me and I felt I had a right to say that.   I am not just going to follow the pack mentality whether it is pro or negative.   So my recommendation is this if you want to get as much info or discussing on NCIS and all that it entails and want to be treated fairly this community I don’t feel will do that for you. Bright an early this morning I received a Google alert for David McCallum apparently there is an artist who does celebrity portraits.   He did an excellent one of Mr. McCallum.   The Artist Na me is Daulle.   I have never heard of him.   He is from France and has done many stars portraits. My friend abbygibbsmorgan posted a cute 1 chapter story to Livejournal in the gibbs_abby community and on fanfiction.net.   It was from the scene from season seven when Mike Franks loses his finger from the Reynosa family. There is a great Halloween Fic from Hawk_soaring that she posted after she got her power back from the recent Nor’easter.   That is one I highly recom me nd as well. Well I have to say I just saw Good Day LA on their Fox station and I swear that Steve guy is a moron.   I have never liked their style of interviewing and I give Mark and anyone else that appears on that show a lot of Credit.   They are rude and obnoxious.   I even left a comment on their board.   There is a discussion on the Mark Harmon Addicts board.    TaylorGibbs saw this mornings “Today” segment and she said it was three minutes long. There is a USA article on Certain Prey.    I will find it again when I am home.   I don’t know how some of these people find this stuff.    I probably could find them because of the Google alerts but they are either about someone else or someone’s website or blogs.

The scarathon schedule It is funny I was reading an early entry from my other blogs and it was Halloween time to and I had mentioned that USA was having the Scar-a-thon on too.  I am not sure if it was the same episdoes as this year but it would be fun to see if next year they have the same episodes (that's if it is still on next year on USA).

There is a really interesting debate about Palmer and his diabetes and why he would go for a pastry.  Is it a continuity issue /writer screw up or are they showing that Palmer doesn't always follow "the health rules" when it comes to sugar intake.  Some are saying that they are trying to show Palmer not perfect and falls to the temptations (like we all do I am sure).  I am not supposed to have salt and certain foods yet I still do and later pay for the consequences.  Others are critical and say this is wrong and is a big mistake. NCIS groups  (I think it works but if it doesn't anyone who is a fan is probably a member.) NCIS is on and the episode is  Vanished  from season two.  Don Swayze is making his first and only appearence in this.  As i look back on this this was really eery because his brother the late Patrick looked like him shortly before his death.  This was the season we start to see changes or hints that Gibbs (at lea...
