 On a weekly basis threads on different (mostly FB) NCIS related boards get hijacked for one thing or another. Most recently an article that was posted read CBS cancels fan favorite after Lead Actor quits (for any of you who have been sleeping Its about Bull and Michael Weatherly. On a side note I wonder what happened first the cancellation or the actor announcing in Twitter he was leaving?) Someone posted that MH should come back. They don't like Gary Cole's addition. I finally had to say this isn't about NCIS and how I wished people would stop hijacking threads. I get so tired of the constant bring back MH. He finally did what he has been saying he is going to do. Move from the front of the camera to behind. He is still there. I was able to see this past week’s episode of NCIS entitled “Love Boat”.  I have to say it was quite good.  I have no problems with Torres or Quinn or the actors who play them.  I would have liked to have seen the reaction from the team on Delilah’s reaction but that may go against the main thought that no one wants to see the “personal side” of the agents.  Everyone did an excellent job. I read the synopsis of the next episode and we get to see Tony Dinozzo Sr.  I thought I read there would be either a surprise  appearance by Michael W and his alter ego in upcoming episodes (per chance Tim and Delilah’s wedding?) it may have been fan speculations. The discussions of Sean Murray’s weight Loss continues and my blood pressure keeps going up and up every time I read it.  I would like it very much of the Admins of any of the forums (mostly on FB) would get off their bums and Please say something.  I don’t care if you agree but really?? The second episode is starting.  I am not liking Tony in the first few moments.  I also didn’t think Michael was that impressive in the ET interview but I have a different sense of humor than others.  Michael did a couple of other interviews I will have to catch online later. Mark Harmon was on Live with Kelly and Michael today it was pretty good except for the fact that yet again the interviewers/research people just had to bring up People Magazines’ Sexiest Man alive.  When Kelly brought up she still had the cover and could look for it and Mark just smiled and told her to get a life in so many words.  They talked about tonight’s episode and his part in NOLA. Every time I go there I end up getting aggravated by the same rhetoric.  The same shit every day.  The show has lost its chemistry (I don’t think it has), Bishop doesn’t fit in, Gibbs is this that and  the other.  (They have been saying that for like freaking 4 years).  I also get tired of reading “I don’t watch it anymore” or  the constant arguing of why watch it if you don’t like it (which I do actually agree with).  I find myself questioning the reasons for posting at message boards if you don’t watch the show anymore.  I have long since stopped watching a number of shows and I may lurk to see what the atmosphere is like or what if any are the same arguments might be that occurred when I was actively watching.  Its the dead horse beatings.  I also know that these arguments are also not solely at one message board.  It is on a number of them but they seem to handle them better than others. ONe of TV’s Finest and Iconic actors has died.  Ralph Waite best known for John Walton on The Walton’s has died.  According to The Hollywood Reporter Mr. Waite died Today at his home in South Palm Desert.  He was 85.  He has had a long and notable career.  He also did a stint in Politics when he ran for the late Sonny Bono’s congressional seat.  Many of us in the NCIS fandom got to see him in a role that would be endearing as Jackson Gibbs in the Sixth Season of NCIS.  He has played Jackson several times since then.  It has been all over the net now and it has exploded on Twitter and of course Facebook when the ever talented Erin McDonough announced on her facebook page he had passed. Yesterday sometime DigitalSpy online magazine posted an article with the talented David McCallum on many things including the departure of one Cote De Pablo and it revealed that it caused a great deal of anguish and frustration for those left behind.  This revelation was received with mixed reaction.  Some supported his candor and others rebuked him (check out twitter and Tumblr).  You may have to do a search it seemed to be very little when I checked on Twitter but I seem to have issues when I am searching.  I get some recent stuff and some really old non relevant stuff that I missed.    Anyway responses on Facebook have been minimal (at least from this view but I think give it time).  The rest of the article was about a possible Man from Uncle Reunion and I don’t think that’s going to happen any time soon.   I saw last night’s episode and for a few minor nitpicks it was great.  As always getting mixed reviews.  It would be nic...

I have been getting alerts all day today announcing the new cast for the NCIS spin-off.   Scott Bakula (Quantum Leap, Star Trek: Enterprise) has been cast as the Leader of the new team located in New Orleans.  Second person to be announced was  Zoe McLellan who also appeared on JAG has been cast as Agent Brody from the Midwest.  They are still looking to fill the rest of the cast up.  I bet Mark Harmon is excited and thrilled.  It hasn’t been announced on any of the entertainment news programs yet.  They are focusing on the Superbowl and the drug overdose of   Philip Seymour Hoffman on Sunday. I tried to stay up for Once a Crook episode of NCIS last night but I wasn’t doing well.  I was tired and not feeling well.  I also found both the characters Abby and Tony to be extremely obnoxious and annoying.  A point I made on a couple of boards.  I checked my October and November entries and can’t tell if I watched it or not. ...

First and foremost I must begin with an apology to this person and their followers when I responded rather unkindly and rudely to another fan who was adamant about getting CDP back and the methods they have been using.  I should not have used profanity and I apologize for that.  However I do stand by the fact that the methods used by the more ardent fans are not by any stretch of the imagination appropriate or for that matter legal and reflect badly on anyone associated with them or CDP. With the latest episode only 10 hours away there has been a lot going on in the NCIS world.  Last week’s episode did well in the ratings despite the mixed reviews from the online fans.  Some felt it was beyond believable that one man can stand up to thugs.    The main point of the episode was to show how women are treated in Afghanistan.  IT didn’t hurt to have in the news the young girl that stood up to soldiers on a bus in Afghanistan being featured and interviewed every where. This week we return to Baltimore as we see a much younger Anthony DiNozzo deal with being a cop in Baltimore.  We had seen pictures earlier this fall previewing this episode.  Some were pretty funny.  TV guide did a cover story with Mark Harmon and Michael Weatherly and their respective characters relationships.  There are some really beautifully done pictures.  I wish I could get it but I am not comfortable spending extra money on it. This week is the Season premiere of NCIS in its 11th Season. This is the most anticipated Season premiere.  For the fans of the show because they want to see how well the TPTB got out of the situation they were in May.   The TIVA fans because they want to know if Ziva/CDP will be honored in the way they are supposedly entitled. (note:  If any other “ship” fans were doing the same kind of crap that was pulled this summer I would be down on them too).  TPTB including cast and crew are probably anxious as well.  They want to know if they pleased the viewers/fans or not. The anticipation of the Season premiere of NCIS is getting heavier in this fan’s life.   Discussions continue of upcoming episodes post Ziva and what to expect for episode 250.   That will be sometime later on in the season.   What ever it is I hope it is done well and received fairly well (uh huh I know not gonna happen). Mark Harmon was a busy man last weekend.   Michigan University honored the Late Tom Harmon (Mark’s father) and his accomplishments for the University as their star Quarterback.   Mr. Harmon was at the game and celebrity commentator and made a speech.   There are number of posts and pictures in various areas of the event.   According to some there was also some rude and uncalled for comments on twitter.   I somehow got on a blog for the team and some of them reviewed his “performance” as being forced.   Okay you want to stand in front of a stadium full of people and not get overwhelmed?   Good luck on that o...

Wow last week’s episode sparked off controversy.   Many fans and viewers (at least on line) were angry and disgusted with the episode and how SFA DiNozzo was written.   I wasn’t blown away by the episode myself but I enjoyed other parts.   The remaining episodes have many denouncing the show and the writers.   Some are claiming not to return as viewers and have said it has jumped the shark now that it has been announced that Muse Watson’s character Mike Franks is returning.   The whole “if you don’t like don’t watch debate continues.   Unfortunately I happen to agree with the “don’t like don’t watch” faction.   I don’t care if you liked it once and want it to return to your specifications.   If the cast likes what is happening then why would you want to make them unhappy-again? AT the same time I do wonder if the cast and crew really do listen and realize that the path they chose to take could make their show a laughing stock.   ...

I am currently watching Day two of the NCIS Character Assassination marathon.   Its kind of weird as I was thinking of the episode Kill Ari where Abby is phonetically spelling out Gibbs na me as she talking as he is leaving the building.   I don’t think these episodes registered when I took a look the other day.   The next marathon is the Wednesday marathon.   This week’s CBS broadcast is from season 8.    So me really cool pictures and threads about the cast and crew granting the wish of a young child.    There are also so me really cool BTS of their Christmas episode.    So me one found an article from the Midwest about Mark Harmon and his fitness regi me . Bright an early this morning I received a Google alert for David McCallum apparently there is an artist who does celebrity portraits.   He did an excellent one of Mr. McCallum.   The Artist Na me is Daulle.   I have never heard of him.   He is from France and has done many stars portraits. My friend abbygibbsmorgan posted a cute 1 chapter story to Livejournal in the gibbs_abby community and on fanfiction.net.   It was from the scene from season seven when Mike Franks loses his finger from the Reynosa family. There is a great Halloween Fic from Hawk_soaring that she posted after she got her power back from the recent Nor’easter.   That is one I highly recom me nd as well. Well I have to say I just saw Good Day LA on their Fox station and I swear that Steve guy is a moron.   I have never liked their style of interviewing and I give Mark and anyone else that appears on that show a lot of Credit.   They are rude and obnoxious.   I even left a comment on their board.   There is a discussion on the Mark Harmon Addicts board.    TaylorGibbs saw this mornings “Today” segment and she said it was three minutes long. There is a USA article on Certain Prey.    I will find it again when I am home.   I don’t know how some of these people find this stuff.    I probably could find them because of the Google alerts but they are either about someone else or someone’s website or blogs.

The MHA forum admin team has decided to keep the home thread open.   They also precipitated it with a warning that if the thread beco me s abusive they will delete it.   I absolutely agree with the outco me . By all accounts it would seem that many if not all really enjoyed last night’s episode.   They felt it was team centered, the mo me nts were touching yet humorous and many believed this reflected season one or season two episodes. I do agree with Nasloranger on a few points she made about the show .    For years we have heard what a first class gold digging bitch Diane was and now we get to see her as vulnerable human.   She nags and coerces her two ex-husbands to look into the disappearance of her third (and perhaps final) husband.    She beco me s a suspect and abusive to Gibbs and to McGee when she finds out.     To me it makes Gibbs look like he was completely to bla me for his marriages failing.   It takes two and fro...

NCIS is not on tonight. After the Burn Notice Marathon its going to be L&O SVU marathon. That’s probably because there is another NCIS marathon coming up soon. I think I am going to watch Tuesday’s episode again. Muse Watson will be speaking at the Branson MO Veteran's Day Service on November 11. promos for the two part episode in which LJG goes to AFghanistan are popping up and I have read where young Sean Harmon returns as Young Gibbs Discussions continue with the most recent episode but mostly on to the next one where we get to See Ex Wife # (2?) Diane? OH and I really glad that Facebook is getting rid of the discussion sections of their groups...now we won't have to read some of the must insulting rude comments that have been posted on the NCIS board.  Most recently a comment about Mark harmon.

USA is in hour seven of the Double Header Marathon.   The episodes currently on are Judg me nt Day part one and two.   There were a couple of episodes I wouldn’t watch or couldn’t watch because I didn’t feel like seeing the character Col Mann.   She was the epito me of the wrong woman for Gibbs both on the job and off.     So me stupid threads on a few forums are getting to replay and it really is getting stupid.   You could tell so me people were bored.   I get so tired of the sa me shit.   There are still promos for Certain Prey being played on the USA channel but sadly no personal appearances as of yet.   So me are suggesting that MH will make satellite interviews.   He will be in LA while the various news stations across the country will interview him.   I know that a few actors that I have followed have done that over the years. Hey there NCIS fans how are you?   I am just waiting for tonight’s mini marathon (not sure what the title they gave it probably none at this point) to start.   I have about 2 and half hours to go yet. I was checking the forums and nothing huge going on yet.   Discussions continue regarding the last episode and a few of the upcoming episodes.   Some fans think that if the show doesn’t turn around the show will die.   That may be their opinion but again I disagree.   One idiot demanded the cast and crew film an apology for the episode last week.   Some are thinking that the cast wants to move on.   How could you possibly know this?   Did any of them personally say this to you? There continues to be discussion or attempted conversations about Sean M’s voice and weight.   These people don’t get it.   One of these days I want to where the cast goes together (like they did at the Grove for Extra) and field questions from the audience. ...
