 On a weekly basis threads on different (mostly FB) NCIS related boards get hijacked for one thing or another. Most recently an article that was posted read CBS cancels fan favorite after Lead Actor quits (for any of you who have been sleeping Its about Bull and Michael Weatherly. On a side note I wonder what happened first the cancellation or the actor announcing in Twitter he was leaving?) Someone posted that MH should come back. They don't like Gary Cole's addition. I finally had to say this isn't about NCIS and how I wished people would stop hijacking threads. I get so tired of the constant bring back MH. He finally did what he has been saying he is going to do. Move from the front of the camera to behind. He is still there. Maybe not every day (I have no idea what producers actually do) There are some people think he is off doing retirement things with his family and wife. I find that rather presumptuous.     I have been a fan of the T V show NCIS now for years.   It was starting its 3 rd or 4 th season when I became a regular viewer.    As time went on I saw the earlier episodes and got caught up.   I enjoyed the cast for the most part.   As the years passed each of the characters, actors, and writing annoyed me.   What was worse was some of the message boards and forums.   Some were of like minds, some would criticize it from the get go.   The worst time was at the end of winter and beginning of spring.   We all were waiting to hear if the show or the cast would renew their contracts.   We read articles (some of them were click bait and I learned which ones to believe) on the cast and crew.   All kinds of things sprung up.   IF the show changed people stopped watching but they still freaking post on episodes they haven’t watched or seen.   I mean how stupid can that be? Awesome news this week. After an shortened TV season because of the Corvid19 the    was some concern that the NCIS franchise had been cancelled out right.  It was announced or confirmed by Sean Murray in a tweet today that the franchise will be returning in September. The Season finale of NCIS "Arizona" was a great episode and it had good reviews from the various platforms I was on.   In equally awesome news Pauley Perrette's Show Broke was cancelled for next season.  In full disclosure I did watch the first episode.  I have mixed views on the episode.  I have not seen the subsequent episodes.  Of course others have and as in all shows some liked and some didn't.  Some are just blindly following her and are oblivious to her instability. For the last few days or so there have been panic stricken fans posting to the FB that DM announced his leaving after this season.  He literally announced it when he announced MW’s departure last year.    Some are in denial citing that everyone signed a two year deal.  That is true but I don’t recall it including that of DMC2.  The current articles are all from Europe and Australia.  None from the US such as Variety and the others we tend to listen or believe most times.  I guess It will have to wait for the “official word”. Tonight is the “Philadelphia”episode.  We see the return of MI6 Clayton.  It will be very interesting to see if he will be in the bullpen by the end of the episode or will be showing up from time to time like Fornell.  Some are questioning the spacial problems this is presenting for them.   The ratings seem to be very steady for Season 14 so far.  If I understand it correctly NCIS came in 4th pl...

I hadn't been online hardly at all today so I was quite shocked at the news this evening that Show Runner for NCIS Gary Glasberg died today.  He was 4 years younger than I am! He has been hailed and vilified at the way he had been running NCIS since taking it over from Jesse Stern.  It is all over the internet and forums (how many times are these people going to post the same things on the same sites?)  There will be a memorial service in October. He was survived by his wife Mimi and their two sons and his father.  I did post a message to most of the NCIS cast at twitter and a few fans have "liked" my tweet. Well last night was episode 14.2 and it was a mixed bag.  Clearly it was a homage to the 1980's movie the breakfast club.  They had all the elements of it.  They even had a woman who everything thought (Including me) was Alley sheedy (but it wasn't) in reprisal of her role as the weird/shy girl.  I am still not sure of Jennifer ...

With the new season of NCIS just a couple of weeks away I thought it would be nice to post one of my rare posts. If you have noticed I haven’t been posting much this past year about the show and the cast and crew or the fandom. You would have to be living under a rock not to know there has been more unrest in the fandom and some of the message boards. Ever since it was announced by David McCallum that Michael Weatherly was leaving and subsequent news reports, and news items, about the final episodes and about his new show.  It was becoming clear to many that there was some bad blood between MW and MH.  I don’t know if there was it could be hype but it upsets me at some of the countless accusations being thrown around. A part of me doesn’t want to believe them just like there were some other suggestions or innuendo about MH and the women co-stars over the years.  Again it could be very well malicious speculation from fans who don’t like the actor.  I also...

There isn't much on TV tonight and some of the marathon’s on WE and Sundance I have seen already.  I couldn’t believe the news I heard today though American Idol has been cancelled for the 2015-2016 season.  I heard a partial report and didn’t know if they were talking about this season but then I got online and saw an article that says Ryan Seacrest speaks out on it.  On one hand I didn’t watch it and never liked it.  I try not to watch those types of shows because they can be relentless and cruel. I was relieved to read that NCIS has been renewed for the 13th season.  Still no word on whether or not MH has signed on as cast member or crew member.  It has many people a little worried but at the same time some are saying he wouldn’t not sign on.  I have a feeling he will have reduced screen time and concentrate on being producer and director.  He as much as said so on different occasions.  As to whether or not season 13 will be the final...

The second episode is starting.  I am not liking Tony in the first few moments.  I also didn’t think Michael was that impressive in the ET interview but I have a different sense of humor than others.  Michael did a couple of other interviews I will have to catch online later. Mark Harmon was on Live with Kelly and Michael today it was pretty good except for the fact that yet again the interviewers/research people just had to bring up People Magazines’ Sexiest Man alive.  When Kelly brought up she still had the cover and could look for it and Mark just smiled and told her to get a life in so many words.  They talked about tonight’s episode and his part in NOLA. I am sitting here watching the last nine minutes of ET.  I missed the segment on NOLA that follows the mothership at 9 pm.  I did catch a few interviews that Mark Harmon has  done in the last couple of days.  THere are more next week.  The last two  interviews were pretty good.  I think I missed Extra tonight. The news flew through the NCIS fandom yesterday that season 12 was a go.  Many of us had no doubts.  Others did.  Many are hoping that Emly Wickersham’s character will be gone and you know who has returned.  Should I state the obvious? Today’s double episodes were from season 7.   They are Jetlag and Masquerade..  The first episode brought a lot of criticism because the agents left their charge alone and she nearly died..   The second one we either meet or see MAllison Hart. again.  I didn’t watch all of it because it was dinner time and I went out afterwards. I am not sure if I mentioned this or not but the next big marathon is tomorrow and the theme is Lucky Ducky Marathon..  It starts around 9 or ten and that’s good because we are going to be out early tomorrow.  I am sure I will be catching some of it..

This  morning I replied to this episode discussion from the past week  It was my second reply to it this week.  Nicki5of7 and I were discussing Pauley’s interview and her character’s behavior in the episode towards the Internal Affairs guy.  Nicki loves Pauley while clearly I am no longer in enamoured with her.   Actually I don’t think I ever was. Pauley didn’t really touch on the anniversary episode very well.  Her character’s behavior on the show leaves a lot to be desired.   I feel that the cast and crew especially Pauley need to start speaking up about things that no longer work for the character.   If they don’t they (actually my feeling is she will) be typecast for the rest of their career.   This is the 21st century and I don’t believe HOllywood would blackball an actor or anyone if they spoke up about changes for their character or what ever.   I also take exception to PP’s behavior on twitter.  The fo...

As expected the Ralph Waite Tribute was lovely.  After each of the episodes they used a still of Ralph from “Faith” near the end where Gibbs and Papa talk about what was bothering Jack.  Discussions are still continuing on how the episode the show will honor him.  Unfortunately it still upsets people discussing it.  It was announced today that NCIS will be honoring Ralph and Jack at the end of Season 11. USA had a double episode Friday.  I missed the first one.  there was full marathon Sunday featuring Tony DiNozzo.  YOu can always check the IMDB line up. Pauley Perrette was on David Letterman Friday.  I didn't want to stay up so I had to miss it.  I will probably catch it on youtube or reviews of it.  It got mixed reviews. ONe of TV’s Finest and Iconic actors has died.  Ralph Waite best known for John Walton on The Walton’s has died.  According to The Hollywood Reporter Mr. Waite died Today at his home in South Palm Desert.  He was 85.  He has had a long and notable career.  He also did a stint in Politics when he ran for the late Sonny Bono’s congressional seat.  Many of us in the NCIS fandom got to see him in a role that would be endearing as Jackson Gibbs in the Sixth Season of NCIS.  He has played Jackson several times since then.  It has been all over the net now and it has exploded on Twitter and of course Facebook when the ever talented Erin McDonough announced on her facebook page he had passed. Yesterday sometime DigitalSpy online magazine posted an article with the talented David McCallum on many things including the departure of one Cote De Pablo and it revealed that it caused a great deal of anguish and frustration for those left behind.  This revelation was received with mixed reaction.  Some supported his candor and others rebuked him (check out twitter and Tumblr).  You may have to do a search it seemed to be very little when I checked on Twitter but I seem to have issues when I am searching.  I get some recent stuff and some really old non relevant stuff that I missed.    Anyway responses on Facebook have been minimal (at least from this view but I think give it time).  The rest of the article was about a possible Man from Uncle Reunion and I don’t think that’s going to happen any time soon.   I saw last night’s episode and for a few minor nitpicks it was great.  As always getting mixed reviews.  It would be nic...
